Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 September 2026

This is short because we collect very little. We sell nothing about you, we share nothing with advertisers, and there is no tracking or analytics on this site.

What we collect

WhenWhatWhy
You send us a request What you type in a request form inside the app: your organisation, contact details and note, alongside the account you are signed in with. Every form sits behind sign-in. To reply to you, and to know what to build next.
You sign in Your sign-in provider (Microsoft or Google) tells us your email address and gives us an account identifier. We store that, which regions and data your account may see, the counties you choose to watch, your company and trade if you tell us, and when you last signed in. To sign you in, show you the right data, and know which parts of the site are worth keeping. We never see or hold a password: your sign-in provider handles that.
You use the tracker Which projects you are shown and on which day, and how many requests your account makes. To count the free daily allowance, to remember what you have already seen (so it is free to see again the same day, and so "Hide projects I've seen" can skip it), and to spot automated copying of the site.
You search the project feed What you typed, with your account and the date, and how many projects matched. To see what people look for, including what we do not have yet.
A request does not come from the app The time, what was sent, the IP address and your browser's user agent. The account is locked automatically while we look at it. To stop automated copying of the site.
You use the bid worksheet The prices you type. They stay on your account. To price your own work. They are yours: we do not publish them and we do not use them in our own figures.

Our servers also log errors, and a log line can carry your account identifier, email address and IP address.

That's the entire list. No analytics, no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn tag, no advertising networks, no session recording, no data brokers, no profile built about you beyond the above.

Cookies

Signing in sets a cookie so you stay signed in. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

You can block cookies in your browser. The public pages work fine without them; signing in does not, because staying signed in is what the cookie is for.

Who else sees it

Four companies, all acting on our behalf, none given permission to use your information for their own purposes:

We take no payments on this site and collect no payment information. Anything we sell is invoiced directly.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other contractors, advertisers or data brokers.

Sponsors

The tracker is free, and sponsors help keep it that way. A sponsor is named on the sponsors page, and one sponsor at a time may underwrite extra free projects for every reader, with a short credit beside the project counter.

A sponsor never receives your email address, your name, or anything else about you. Sponsorship never affects which projects appear here or how they are ordered. We do not count clicks on a sponsor's link and we do not follow you to their site.

The construction data itself

The bids, permits and projects on this site are public records published by Wisconsin government agencies, not personal information we collected about you. Where a public record names a person, such as a purchasing agent listed as the contact on a solicitation, a permit applicant or a property owner, that name is part of the public record as the agency published it. We show the facts from those records; we do not republish the agencies' documents themselves.

If you are named in a public record shown here and want to discuss it, email us and we will respond. We cannot change the underlying public record, which belongs to the agency that issued it.

How long we keep it

Your choices

You can delete your account yourself, from the settings panel in the app. It removes your account, your email address, your preferences, your saved worksheet prices and your sign-in, and it cannot be undone. What stays is described above: usage and search records with nothing identifying left in them.

Email us and we will also tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form and no ticket queue. It is a small operation and you get a person.

Children

This is a tool for construction businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top, and email you if the change affects information we already hold about you.
